whoworking
Your company, online

Your company
has a place online.

Create one place online where your company runs. Employees choose Working, Away, Break, or Clocked out in the desktop app. Only when your company uses screen sharing does the latest frame from a work screen they chose appear at their desk.

Why whoworking

Today's status, next actions,
and work evidence—all in one place.

See Working, Away, Break, and Clocked out status; exceptions awaiting approval; task deadlines, completion, result links, and assignee attachments; and employee-entered work time in the same server ledger.

Right now

Employees choose their own
Working, Away, Break, or Clocked out status.

Work status and screen-sharing status are separate. A missing screen is never treated as evidence that someone is on break or not working.

Only the latest work screen an employee chose to share appears in Live screens, available to the owner on web and mobile.

Live screens — a grid of the latest screens employees have chosen to share
Live screens · Explicit work status stays separate from screen-sharing status
Question two

"How long did everyone work?"
No manual counting required.

Approved work records — Working, Away, and Break intervals stay separate, and manually entered clock-ins or clock-outs remain pending until owner approval.

See approved hours for today and this week, along with progress toward each person's goals. Pending records are excluded from KPIs and payroll evidence.

Operations, too

See today's company
at a glance.

Use Operations to check current status, handle pending approvals and overdue work, then inspect each person's underlying attendance and task records.

See task priority, due date, completion, result links, whether assignee attachments are present, self-reported work time, and goals. Links and attachments do not judge quality, and whoworking does not create employee rankings or composite productivity scores.

One simple loop

Employees choose their status in the app
and share a screen only when needed.

The Windows, macOS, and Linux apps never operate in secret. Status and sharing are always visible, and even at companies that use screen sharing, each employee chooses the work window through the operating system's picker.

1Start work in the desktop app

Sign in with your invited account and start work. In sharing mode, you choose the work screen yourself, and audio is never collected.

2Away, break, and return

Choosing Away or Break removes the screen immediately. When you return, choose a screen again through the operating system's picker.

3Review the same ledger together

Employees can review their approved hours, status, and the sources behind work KPIs using the same basis as the owner.

Privacy by visibility

Process only what is visible.
Never store the screen.

Before an employee's first day, explain exactly how it works and obtain consent.
  • Only the latest screen image stays in server process memory. It is never written to a database, file, or S3.
  • Audio is never collected, and the screen is discarded immediately when the employee chooses Away, Break, or Clocked out, stops sharing, or the session expires.
  • The server enforces that owners can view shared screens from company members while employees can view only their own.
  • The desktop app sends only a randomized installation ID, platform, version, and last connection time. It does not collect the computer name, IP address, processes, window titles, or keystrokes.
  • Employees can see their own work status and the underlying KPI records. Screen content is never used for rankings or composite scores.
Closed beta

Free closed beta
for the first 10 companies.

There are no fees or automatic charges during the beta. Our operations team sets up each company's Space individually. We will announce pricing and the effective date at least 30 days before any paid plan begins. Once 10 companies have joined, new applications move to a waitlist.

Your address must be 2–24 characters, start with a lowercase letter, end with a lowercase letter or number, and may contain hyphens in between. After review, we will email your setup instructions.

If the form does not work, email your company name, owner name, Google email, and preferred address to contact@assistcamera.com.

Beta pricing

Free · No card required · No automatic conversion to a paid plan

Recommended team size

2–10 people, including the owner. During the beta, we will test screen-sharing stability and bandwidth with you.

How setup works

After review, our operations team manually creates each company Space in application order and emails you when it is ready.
